**Fifth grade students will make their own Reading Counts goals. Tests are taken during school hours as our Reading Counts program is only accessible through our server.

Students know how to check whether or not a book is RC. There are thousands of RC books that can be found throughout the classroom library, the school library, the Great River Regional Library, the EPIC! reading app, and some of the books you have at home. Ten-question tests need to be passed with 80% or better to gain points. Tests can be taken up to three times with a 24 hour wait period between tests. These tests help determine and work on comprehension skills.
